Hello! My name is Richard Jiang. Currently, I am working at Microsoft as a senior product designer.

 

Coming from both graphics design and finance backgrounds, I transplanted my keen analytical and research skills into my UX/UI approaches, aiming to become a designer with both rational sense and artistic sensibility.

My design process starts with profound love and empathy for users, plus tons of research and analysis to fuel my creativity as I explore Human-Centred Design (HCD) methods. I also aim to integrate unconventional thinking into every journey of problem-solving.

 

Besides this, I am a very good karaoke singer, cook 5 days a week, drink a lot of tea and am ready to jump in a swimming pool at any time.

 

I am a proud resident of Vancouver, BC, have lived in Shanghai and speak Mandarin as well.
